Delta State Peoples Democratic Party, PDP has wished Deltans a happy, prosperous, healthy, and success-filled year 2024, even as it has promised that the PDP administration under the leadership of Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori will deliver MORE dividends of democracy to the people as the New Year unfolds.
The New Year felicitation which was contained in a statement by Dr. Ifeanyi Osuoza, State Publicity Secretary, Delta PDP reads:
“Delta State PDP warmly rejoices with all Deltans and residents in Delta State, on the wonderful milestone of witnessing and celebrating the dawn of the New Year 2024.
“As a people, we collectively thank God Almighty for the gift of life in 2023, for His goodness, mercies, wisdom, fortitude, and protection in all situations, and particularly for the resounding successes we achieved in the 2023 general elections, including the election of Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori as the Governor of our dear State, which once again sustained and consolidated the PDP as the party of choice for Deltans to the Glory of God.
“We urge Deltans to continue to keep faith with the PDP in the New Year, as it is our solemn promise that the steady, resolute, strategic, committed and unwavering leadership of Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, will do MORE and deliver MORE dividends of Democracy in all sectors of the society, to our people in the three Senatorial zones, irrespective of the vagaries of external factors and influences, as the New Year unfolds.
“We warmly welcome all Deltans; Citizens and Residents, to the Year 2024 and assure one and all that Delta shall not only remain the destination of choice for national and global engagements but will continue to be peaceful, safe, secure, and conducive for business, leisure and other genuine and legitimate endeavours.
