He revealed that the foundation has been actively involved in humanitarian services through infrastructure development and other incentives that help people live a better life.

“This foundation was set up by a son of this soil, a son of Issele-Mkpitime and as the saying goes, charity begins at home.

“You cannot start helping the world when your people and your locality have not felt your impact,” he said and noted that the Nwaozomor’s Grace Foundation through the grace and mercy of God has been in the forefront of the development of Issele-Mkpitime and its people.

“By the grace of God, this foundation has empowered youths, students, and has been involved in children educational sponsorships through various forms of scholarships,” he said.

Awajibenem said with the harsh economic situation in the country, the Foundation thought it wise to extend its gestures to sons and daughters of Aniocha North Local Government Area to get a lift by supporting them with the sum of N500,000 each.

He said the finance is to be ploughed into their businesses with a view to encouraging them to grow in their areas of business.

“I am sure everyone here will agree with me that the financing being given today by the Foundation to the beneficiaries is a huge investment in their lives.

“The foundation is not in any way taking kickback from anybody who is receiving this aid and grant. All the foundation is asking is that each and every person who receives this grant today uses it to make their lives better. Of course, no amount of money is enough to make you a billionaire, but they say, ‘A little drop of water makes a mighty ocean.

“Anybody who cannot use five hundred thousand Naira to make his or her life better cannot by any means use five million Naira to make his or her life better either,” he said.

He stated that the vision of the Foundation towards human capital development in Issele-Mkpitime and Aniocha North Local Government Area is in line with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s “Renewed Hope Agenda” and the “MORE Agenda” of the Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon Sheriff Francis Oborevwori and will not by any way diminish, so long as the Lord God Almighty is still on the throne.

“In this Foundation, we believe it is all about Jesus Christ. We also know that He and He alone is our helper and He has been helping us to do all what we have been doing, even today.

“We also believed that God will help each and every beneficiary to make good use of the Finance they are receiving today and that they will have renewed hope in themselves, in their businesses and everything they placed their hands to do in Jesus’ Precious name,” Awajibenem prayed.

Also in his explanation, Comrade Chuks Aniemeke said the foundation was involved in humanitarian services and philanthropy, not for anything but to give back to society that includes Issele-Mkpitime and Aniocha North at large.

He maintained that the beneficiaries are people who are already owners of small scale businesses, even as he stressed the purpose for the empowerment which he noted was to lift the beneficiaries by way of helping them in their various businesses to be able to buy tools, devices, machines and materials needed to make their businesses thrive.

Comrade Chuks Aniemeke further stressed that when their business grows, the beneficiaries will be in a position to help themselves as well as their extended families.

The highlight of the event was the presentation of cheques of N500,000 each to the 50 selected beneficiaries by the representatives of the Foundation.

In their separate response, some of the beneficiaries from the various communities in Aniocha North Local Government area, appreciated the Chairman of the Foundation, Pastor Azubuike Daniel Nwaozomor and members of the Foundation for their kind gestures.

While praying for the Chairman and the Foundation, the beneficiaries pledged to put the grant into proper use towards improving their businesses to their own benefit and to the benefit of their immediate and extended families.

The Foundation led by the Chairman, Pastor Azubuike Daniel Nwaozomor, later paid a courtesy call on the traditional ruler of Issele-Mkpitime, His Royal Majesty, Obi Sunday Ogboli in his palace.
