The Senior Political Adviser to the Governor, Rt. Hon Funkekeme Solomon has congratulated the Delta State Governor, Sen Ifeanyi Okowa for emerging the Chairman of the South-South Governors’ Forum.
In a remark, the Senior Political Adviser said Governor Okowa coming as the chairman of the forum is a recognition and a testament to His hard work, diligence and inventive command and knowledge in the management of human and material resources.
The Senior Political Adviser was firm in his conviction that Governor Okowa would no doubt bring his wealth of experience both at the State and National levels to bear in piloting the affairs of the forum.
Rt. Hon. Funkekeme Solomon therefore urged the other South South governors to cooperate and support the chairman of the Forum in proffering solutions to the varied challenges confronting the region.
He joined Deltans to felicitate with Governor Okowa in his new role as the helmsman of the South South Governors Forum, even as he prayed that God Almighty grant him good health and increased wisdom to pilot the affairs of the Forum.
