The Executive Chairman of Aniocha South Local Government Area, Pastor Jude Chukwunwike, has called for enhanced security for his local government from the Delta State Police Command.

He made the plea when he paid a courtesy visit to Mr. Ari Mohammed Ali, Delta State Commissioner for Police on Tuesday.
Commending the Police chief for the security in his council, Chukwunwike said there is need for vigilance to prevent undesirable elements from disrupting the peace in the area.
Given the security challenges facing Nigeria, Chukwunike said there is need for effective policing and pledged the cooperation of his administration with the Police command.
The council boss also congratulated the police boss on his recent posting to the Delta State Police Command.
He commended CP Ari Mohammed for his pedigree in policing and urged him never to relent in the professional discharge of his duties.
The chairman wished him a fruitful sojourn in Delta State and enjoined the police chieftain to see his professional elevation as a call to deepen his service to the people.
Responding, the police boss also congratulated Chukwunwike on his election as council chairman and thanked him for making out time to visit him.
He pledged to put in his best towards not just improving security in Delta State but in winning the war against crime and criminality.
”I am very happy to see a gentleman, a youthful and a humble man like you taking the issue of security very serious. It shows you are deeply committed to serving your people with all your might and sincerity. I’m happy because you are a youth with lots of wisdom and intelligence as can be seen from what you have already started doing in your local government and from your speech.
“I must commend you for being an exemplary youth ambassador and a council chairman. I thank you also for asking for partnership towards the absolute restoration of orderliness and all round peace in Delta state”, Ali stated.
