The Speaker, Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Francis Oborevwori has emerged winner of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Governorship Primary held in the main bowl of Stephen Keshi Stadium, Nnebisi Road,Asaba.
He clinched a total of votes to beat 13 other contestants and emerge the PDP Delta State Governorship flag bearer for the 2023 general electons.
At the end of vote counting done under flood light, and heavy down pour, Sheriff Francis Oborevwori polled a total of 590 votes to emerge winner. His closest rival, Olorogun David Edevbie scored 113 votes and the place was clinched by Senator James Manager who got 83 votes.
