The Action Alliance (AA) Governorship candidate in Delta State, Hon. (Mrs) Esther Esevohare has said that she is not in court against the Delta State Governor-elect, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori.
In a statement signed by her and made available to banneronlinenews.com, she debunked insinuations that she is in court against the Governor-elect, describing the claims as misinformation peddled by social media bigots.
Full text of her disclaimer reads:

Great people of Delta, it was with utmost pleasure that I, Honourable Mrs Esther Esevohare received the baton to run as the consensus Delta State gubernatorial candidate of Action Alliance in the just concluded gubernatorial election held on the 18th of March 2023 with utmost good faith to bring dividend of democracy to the good people of Delta State. Unfortunately, INEC excluded my name from the ballot paper, and the party filed a petition contesting my exclusion.
My exclusion from the ballot caused me extreme pain and trauma to my teeming supporters that felt I have been short-changed. However, I believe that the development of Delta State far exceeds that of an individual ambition no matter whose ox is gored. It was that understanding that made me to withdraw our Party’s petition from court.
It has now come to my notice that some social media bigots are mis-informing the general public that I currently have a petition against the incoming government. I make this statement to reiterate that I have withdrawn my petition against the incoming government and the good people of Delta State, as judicial time is precious and not to be wasted.
I also use this medium to appeal to all other candidates of the just concluded Delta State gubernatorial election to follow suit by withdrawing their petitions and offer their services towards state building.
Let us join hands to make Delta state a force to be reckoned with.
