I belong naturally to the club that views the fellow that goes by the pseudonym of Fejiro Oliver as a leechy and incorrigible blackmailer that’s not worth the time or effort. However, whenever his mental rabidity makes him loiter into guarded areas of other people’s lives (like he’s now doing with my mentor, Dr. Okowa), he needs to be reined in at such times.

My attention has been drawn to a trending video depicting the visit of the empowerment team (constituted at the behest of Governor Oborevwori, Dr. Okowa and Party leaders) to Idumuesah in Ika North-East LGA.

The said team has been going round all the Wards in the State and at the last weekend, Dr. Okowa did lead the team in Ika North-East LGA as his custom has been from onset of the empowerments.

Curiously, Mr. Fejiro decided to excise a part of the video, one which he later claimed, showed the crowd booing Dr. Okowa for asking them to join him in the APC. Unfortunately, nothing is farther from the truth than this.

For those in the know of happenings at the said event, prior to Dr. Okowa taking the stage, some attendees had murmured that of about 60 beneficiaries penciled down by organizers, a certain family(name withheld) disproportionately got allotted about seven slots while other potential beneficiaries were excluded.

It was when it became clear that the organizers could not calm frayed nerves that Dr. Okowa in his wisdom, came forward to reassure them that the purported inequity would be addressed in a larger and forthcoming empowerment scheme. Indeed, it was Dr. Okowa’s soothing reassurances that saved the day, making way for the event to continue as planned.

Now back to Fejiro Oliver.

It is the height of mischief to have cropped or excised a tiny fraction(lacking audio for that matter) of a lengthy video and then running to conclusions that can’t even convince the dumbest of the human race.

By the way, does Fejiro now claim to understand Ika language let alone having capacity to draw logical conclusions from an audioless video?

Well, everyone knows Fejiro is still licking his wounds on the failure of his prognosis or predictions around the defection of the State political structure to come to pass.

Worse still, he had built some utopian dreams around the fortunes of his paymasters; leaders he boasted were going to relegate the Governor and Dr. Okowa to the back benches of the power equations of the State APC.

Alas, a self-styled Nostradamus is reeling from shock and dazeness occasioned by fatal and colossal misfiring.

This is however my simple advice to him: admit to your paymasters that you’ve goofed once again. Otherwise, such laughable attempt to sneakily start hailing the PDP you once impugned endlessly, will serve no good even if your principals(as being alleged) decide to port there.
