Delta State Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori , has congratulated President Bola Tinubu on his 74th birthday, applauding his leadership and the sweeping economic reforms introduced under his administration.
The governor’s message was conveyed in a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Sir Festus Ahon, in which Oborevwori commended the President’s bold policy direction and commitment to repositioning Nigeria’s economy.
“On behalf of my family, the government and the people of Delta State, I heartily congratulate His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, on the occasion of his 74th birth anniversary,” the statement read.
Oborevwori noted that the administration’s reforms have led to increased revenue allocations to states and local governments, enabling subnational authorities to embark on critical infrastructure projects and enhance service delivery.
“Your bold and pragmatic economic reforms have not only repositioned the nation’s fiscal landscape but have also empowered states and local governments with increased resources to drive meaningful development and deliver democratic dividends to our people,” he said.
Describing the President as a visionary leader, the governor stated that the ongoing fiscal and economic initiatives were laying a solid foundation for sustainable growth and long-term national development.
He further praised Tinubu’s courage in taking difficult but necessary decisions, expressing optimism that the policies would yield lasting prosperity for the country.
Oborevwori reaffirmed Delta State’s support for the Federal Government, pledging continued collaboration to advance policies and programmes aimed at improving the welfare of Nigerians.
He also offered prayers for the President’s continued good health, wisdom, and strength, expressing confidence that Nigeria would achieve greater progress under his leadership.
