ASABA — Frontline aspirant for the Aniocha North II State Constituency seat in the Delta State House of Assembly, Sir Jossy Honnah, has congratulated Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Elder Sheriff Francis Orohwedor Oborevwori, on the occasion of his 63rd birthday, describing him as a humble, resilient and people-oriented leader whose public service journey continues to inspire Deltans.
In a goodwill message, Honnah said Governor Oborevwori’s rise through the ranks of public service to become the Chief Executive Officer of Delta State exemplifies the virtues of perseverance, hard work, dedication and faith in God.
Honnah, who serves as Executive Assistant to the Governor in the Office of the Secretary to the State Government and is an aspirant for the Aniocha North II House of Assembly seat, commended the governor’s commitment to governance and the welfare of the people.
According to him, Governor Oborevwori has continued to demonstrate exceptional leadership through policies and programmes designed to improve the living standards of Deltans across the state.
He particularly praised the administration’s MORE Agenda, noting that it has continued to drive infrastructural development, economic empowerment and improved public service delivery.
“Today presents another opportunity for Deltans to celebrate a leader whose life and career embody service, humility and dedication to the common good. Governor Oborevwori’s leadership continues to provide hope and direction for the people of Delta State,” Honnah stated.
Reflecting on his experience working within the state government, Honnah said he had the privilege of observing the governor’s leadership style and commitment to inclusive governance at close range.
He noted that Oborevwori’s accessibility, calm disposition, political maturity and genuine concern for the welfare of ordinary citizens have endeared him to people across the state.
The House of Assembly aspirant further observed that beyond the achievements of the administration, one of the governor’s greatest strengths remains his ability to connect with people from diverse backgrounds and maintain cordial relationships across political, ethnic and social divides.
Honnah also offered prayers for God’s continued guidance, wisdom and protection for the governor as he marks another year of service to the state.
