Asaba: Final preparations conclude ahead of global crusade with Pastor Kumuyi

ASABA, Nigeria – Final preparations are in their advanced stages for the highly anticipated Global Crusade with Kumuyi (GCK), which is set to commence today, Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at the Cenotaph in Asaba, Delta State.

Organizers have confirmed that extensive logistical and technical arrangements are nearing completion, with teams working round the clock to ensure a seamless and impactful event. The crusade, which has drawn massive crowds in cities across Nigeria and internationally, is expected to attract thousands of worshippers from Delta State and neighboring regions.

At the sprawling Cenotaph venue, technicians were seen installing large LED screens, high-capacity sound systems, lighting rigs, and media equipment to accommodate both on-site and global online audiences. Security personnel, medical teams, and volunteer coordinators are also finalizing operational frameworks for crowd control, welfare services, and emergency response protocols.

The Global Crusade with Kumuyi is convened by renowned cleric and Bible scholar Pastor William Folorunso Kumuyi, General Superintendent of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry. The crusade has become a global evangelical outreach platform known for its emphasis on salvation, holiness, healing, and spiritual revival.

Available reports indicate that the Asaba edition is poised to replicate and potentially surpass the remarkable testimonies recorded in previous host cities. In earlier crusades, participants reported profound spiritual renewal, documented healings, and life-transforming encounters.

“Asaba is spiritually expectant,” one coordinator stated. “From what we have witnessed in other centers, there is strong anticipation that this city will experience a mighty move of God. We believe souls will be saved, lives will be transformed, and destinies will be redirected.”

Means of transportation are being coordinated to ease the movement of people to and from the venue. Hospitality teams are equally preparing to receive guests arriving from different parts of the country, states, and regions across Delta State.

The crusade will feature powerful Bible teachings, fervent prayer sessions, worship ministrations, and special sessions addressing personal, family, and national concerns. A section is also devoted to youths, where issues pertaining to young persons will be addressed on Saturday, March 28, at the Event Centre.

The event will also be broadcast live to a global audience, enabling virtual participation for those unable to attend physically.

With preparations in top gear and expectations running high, Asaba stands on the brink of hosting one of the largest faith gatherings in its recent history.
