His Royal Majesty, the Asagba of Asaba, Obi (Prof ) Epiphany Chigbogu Azinge, recently visited Aningene, Akwuogede, and Ogbodume in Ugbomanta Asagba, with a call on the State government, through the Director General of Delta State Capital Territory Development Agency Patrick Ukah, represented by the manager of Administration and Finance, Mr Vincent Okhowfaheke, to conduct more road intervention works in the area.
He also appreciateed the Director General of Delta State Capital Territory Development Agency, Ogbueshi Patrick Ukah for his concern and intense love for the people of the Capital Territory.
The Asagba asked the Director General to convey the community’s request for good roads, primary and secondary schools to the State government.
Furthermore, the Asagba charged Ogbueshi Jude Mordi to make land available in the area and be rest assured that the construction of the schools would commence in no distant time.
The highlight of the occasion was the renaming of the Akwuogede, Aningene, and Ogbodume areas of Asaba as Ugboma Layout.
