The Atiku-Okowa Presidential ticket of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has the master plan and capacity to rescue and reset Nigeria, Delta North Chairman of the party, Elder Moses Iduh stated this Monday during the Oshimili South Local Government Area ward campaign of the party.

This was the plank of the campaign when the campaign train visited six Wards in Asaba, Delta State capital going through Ward 9, Ward 7, Ward 8, Ward 6, Ward 5, and Ward 4.

All the Ward leaders assured thecampaign train of the loyalty of their members to the PDP, pointing out that they have always voted PDP and they know no other party, and that they have always won their Wards for PDP candidates.

It was in Ward 4, Ogbeke that the Odogwu of Asaba, Ogbueshi Obi Nwanze Oduah reassured the PDP leaders that the Ward had always voted PDP from time to time, and that the situation will not change.

However, Elder Iduh who told party faithful at each Ward visited that he brought greetings from Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, who is also the Vice-Presidential candidate of the PDP said given the transformation that Asaba city has become under the PDP various administrations, and especially under Governor Okowa, it was incumbent on the people to reciprocate by voting massively for the party’s candidates in the forthcoming 2023 elections.

As in all the Wards, Iduh said: “I won’t campaign much because to whom much is given much is expected. In Delta State, PDP has done very well. There’s no community in the State that has not been touched by the PDP State Government. Asaba previously was a glorified State capital. But now even the blind agree that Asaba now truly represents what a State capital should be.”

Iduh who also presented the PDP candidates for the election to the people in the Wards, including Prince Ned Nwoko, Senatorial candidate, Hon. Ndudi Elumelu, House of Representatives, Deputy Governorship candidate, Sir Monday John Onyeme, and Barr. Bridget Anyafulu, House of Assembly, reminded the people that the emergence of Governor Okowa as Vice-Presidential candidate is a blessing to Delta State and to the Anioma Nation.

Pointing out that with the Atiku-Okowa Presidential ticket of the PDP that Nigeria will be better, and that come 2023 PDP Federal Government will reset and change Nigeria for the better, Iduh said: “PDP has the key to bring hope to Nigeria so that there will be order again in Nigeria. All Progressives Congress (APC) is a party that couldn’t keep to one of its promises. Anyone who votes for APC must be sick. In fact, someone has already said that it is only a mad person that will vote for the APC.”

He pointed out that APC has brought untold hardship to the country, Iduh urged the people to change the situation by voting out APC from the Federal Government, and urged that they vote for the Governorship candidate of the party in Delta, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori and his Deputy Governorship candidate, Sir Monday Onyeme, pointed out that with Oborevwori, the Anioma nation has a friend and brother. “This is why we must all vote PDP five-over-five all-the-way,” the Delta North PDP Chairman said.

The highlight of the Ward campaigns was greetings from each of the candidates to the people and the assurance of the former speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Peter Onwusanya in Ward 4 that the Ward will give total votes to PDP candidates during the elections.
