The attention of the Delta State Government has been drawn to a scam website which purports to empower people in the name of the state Governor, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, after payment of an amount of money.
A statement signed by the State Commissioner for Information, Mr. Patrick Ukah, in Asaba stated that the website, https://okowaagain2019.online/register.php, is the handiwork of evil minded person or persons who are bent on defrauding unsuspecting members of the public.
The statement categorically said that the state government has no connection, either directly or indirectly, with the website.
Ukah advised members of the public to be wary of unscrupulous Nigerians whose stock in trade is to swindle people of their hard earned money.
