Delta State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has expressed sadness at the news of the demise of Madam Agnes Ayetoma Ataga, mother of the wife of Delta State Governor and first Lady, Her Excellency, Deaconess Tobore Oborevwori.
In a condolence message titled “Delta PDP Commiserates With Oborevwori, Ataga Families Over Passing Of Mrs. Oborevwori’s Mother”, the State PDP Publicity Secretary, Dr. Ifeanyi Osuoza, conveyed the Party’s empathy to the family of His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, Governor of Delta State and the Ataga family of Evwreni community in Ughelli North Local Government Area, where Deaconess (Mrs.) Oborevwori’s mother hailed from.
Commiserating with the two families, the PDP stated that the heart of the Delta PDP family goes out to them on their bereavement, and prayed that God Almighty would stand with them, comfort them, and give them grace to bear this irreparable loss.
“The loss of a loved one and a loving mother is always touching, yet we must accept and come to terms when God, the author and giver of life, allows it to happen.
“Your Excellency, the Governor Sir, be assured that PDP in Delta State stands solidly with you and your beloved wife at this time of grief.
“May the gentle soul of your dearly departed rest peacefully in the warm bosom of the Lord, Amen.
“Please accept the party’s heartfelt condolences,” Dr. Osuoza stated.
