The Commissioner of Police, Delta State Command, Mr. Zanna M.
Ibrahim, has assured the Muslim faithful and all Deltans of the
provision of adequate security and free flow of traffic in the state in
view of the Eid-Kabir Sallah festivities which takes place on
Friday, 1st of September to Monday, 4th September, 2017.
To this end, the CP has directed the Deputy Commissioner of Police
in-charge of operations, Area Commanders, Divisional Police Officers,
Tactical Operations Officers and all Heads of Departments of the Command to
leave no stone unturned towards ensuring effective deployment of manpower for the actualization of peace and tranquility throughout the state during and after the celebrations.
A statement by the PPRO stated also that the CP has warned all miscreants to stay clear of the Command.
