Elumelu felicitates Nigerians at Christmas, calls for love, hope, peace

Former Minority Leader of the 9th House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Ndudi Elumelu, has extended Christmas greetings to the people of Aniocha/Oshimili Federal Constituency of Delta State and Nigerians across the country, urging citizens to use the season to renew love, unity and faith in God’s intervention.

In his Christmas message, Elumelu said the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ is a reminder of God’s enduring love and the promise of hope in times of difficulty. He noted that the true meaning of Christmas lies in love, peace and salvation, and encouraged Nigerians to consciously reflect these values in their daily lives.

“Love remains the foundation for peace, tolerance, understanding and compassion,” he said, adding that societies thrive when people choose dialogue over conflict and generosity over selfishness.

Elumelu stressed that meaningful development cannot take place in an atmosphere of division and bitterness. He urged citizens to embrace forgiveness, coexistence and the spirit of giving as a pathway to national progress.

He reaffirmed his commitment to the welfare and development of the Aniocha/Oshimili constituency, promising to continue prioritising the collective interest of the people in his engagements.

Elumelu also expressed appreciation to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori for what he described as their efforts in delivering people-oriented projects and programmes in the state and across Nigeria. He called on Nigerians to support the administration and continue praying for the nation.

Wishing Nigerians a joyful celebration, Elumelu prayed that the blessings of the season would bring renewed hope and peace to families and communities.
