Mr. Festus Keyamo.

The Federal Government of Nigeria has called on Nigerians to continue to believe in and maintain the indivisibility of the country as a political entity.
The Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Chief Fetus Keyamo (SAN) made the call during his interactive meeting with the Ovie of Uvwie Kingdom, HRM (Dr) Emmanuel Sideso (JP) OON, in Effurun, Uvwie Local Government Area on Tuesday November 2, 2020.
Keyamo who said that President Buhari was expecting feedbacks from his ministers on the interactive meetings with traditional rulers on the aftermath of the EndSARS protest, stated that President Buhari commended Deltans for not recording any incident of hate speech amongst ethnic groups.
The minister noted that no person had the choice of choosing where he wants to belong before he was given birth to.
He reasoned that it was ungodly to cast hatred on anybody on the basis of his or her ethnic nationality and that being Nigerians was a divine arrangement from God.
The Uvwie born legal luminary also admonished Nigerians to be mindful of what they consumed in the internet as he posited that some news items in the social media were fake and misleading.
He substantiated his claim by noting that the incident which sparked off the nation-wide EndSARS protests in Ughelli was between a young man and a unit in the Nigeria Police Force and not SARS and that the young man in question was still alive.
Keyemo also urged Nigerians to look at the numerous good sides of the Nigeria Police Force and that Nigerians should not because of few bad eggs in the police condemn the entire force.
He commended Uvwie people, particularly the youths for their peaceful disposition during the #EndSARS protests.
The Ovie had in his address hailed Chief Keyamo for being outstanding in the Federal Executive Council so far.
