The Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP) Delta State, has expressed appreciation to the Anioma Nation, for the reception held for Governor Ifeanyi Okowa.
In a statement issued by the State PDP Publicity Secretary, Mr. Ifeanyi Osuoza, the party it was overwhlmed by the show of magnanimity of the people of Anioma Nation for adopting and endorsing Senator Ifeanyi Okowa as their sole candidate for the Delta State governorship election in 2019. “This brave, courageous, uplifting, monumental and momentous decision, is not only definitive in its pronouncement but absolutely defining, instructive and unparalleled within the collective political context in which it has been delivered<” Osuoza stated. He recalled that just a few days before the grand reception, our pragmatic and dynamic Chairman, Olorogun (Barr.) Kingsley Esiso, not only hailed the Anioma Nation for deeming it fit and proper to celebrate their own son, with a grand reception in recognition of his good governance and the giant developmental strides he has achieved all over Delta State through the brilliant SMART Agenda, but indeed appealed to the good people of Anioma to give the PDP family Governor Okowa for a second term, in order to allow Ekwueme consolidate on the good works he has started in Delta State, deliver more dividends of democracy to the people and continue the strategic policy initiatives that will further enhance the steady objective of bringing prosperity to all Deltans, which had already commenced since May 29, 2015. Th statement reads: “The overwhelming success of the Grand reception for Governor Okowa, underscored by the A. List of distinguished personalities that graced the occasion, including our energetic and indefatigable National Chairman, Prince Uche Secondus, our courageous and Charismatic leader and Deputy Senate President, Senator Ike Ekweremadu and the ultimate warrior and lion of Niger Delta himself, Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State, amongst others, was a clear and unequivocal testimony that Governor Ifeanyi Okowa has firmly attained the status of national recognition and risen valiantly and gallantly into the pantheon of national statesmen in the political space.
