The Forum of Delta State NGOs has called on citizens across the country to embrace peace, love and unity to take Nigeria from the woods of underdevelopment.
The Forum’s Coordinator, Deacon Okezi Odugala, pleaded with citizens and initiators of the #EndBad Governance Protest to engage government constructively as well as proffering solutions to our socio-economic challenges.
Odugala said: “We are uncomfortable with the hardship in the land in the midst of plenty but the time has come for all of us to Think Nigeria First in all we do to create the needed good governance.
“We must change our negative ways to move Nigeria forward positively.
“We are calling on everyone, both government and non-governmental to partner with synergy to drive the Nigerian train to the destination of commity of progressive nations.
“We must all reset the country positively by shuning corruption, tribalism and religious bigotry if truly we want to advance our nation.
“We call on governmental leaders to deliver good governance as a matter of urgency and call on citizens to embrace peace and contribute productively to the national economic mainstay as power and energy, agriculture and manufacturing should be given the highest attention as a stictch in time saves nine.”
