Delta State’s First Lady, Deaconess Tobore Oborevwori, marked her 56th birthday on Thursday with public commendations from Governor Sheriff Oborevwori.
In an official statement released by his Chief Press Secretary, Sir Festus Ahon, the Governor extended congratulations on behalf of the state government, the people of Delta, and the First Family.
He credited his wife’s steadfast support and prayers as instrumental in their journey to the state’s leadership. The Governor highlighted her role as a compassionate mother and her societal impact through moral support and humanitarian work.
A key focus of the tribute was the First Lady’s ‘You Matter Charity Foundation’, an initiative noted for assisting vulnerable groups, including widows, the elderly, and children with autism.
“She has remained a shining example of dedication, compassion, and godly values,” Governor Oborevwori stated in the release.
He concluded with a personal message, expressing admiration for her character and service: “You make every day a pleasure… I celebrate you today and always. Happy birthday, my love and best friend.”
