Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan show off his new PDP membership card at his Abigborodo ward.
Dr Emmanuel Uduaghan, the immediate past governor of Delta state has officially re-registered with the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as was reported earlier by BIGPEN.
Uduaghan joined the PDP, where he was pioneer party chieftain after two years frolicking with Nigeria’s ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
The former governor announced his re-registration with the PDP on his verified twitter account after he formally registered his membership of the party at his Unit 1, Ward 6, Abigborodo in Warri North local government area of the state on Monday.
BIGPEN reports that Hundred of thousands of his supporters also moved with him to his new party at the ceremony which started around 11:40am.
Uduaghan, at the brief membership registration ceremony, says “it feels refreshing to be back home.”
His remarks posted on his verified Facebook page reads; “I am back to join forces with other party greats to strengthen our party, the largest Party in Africa -PDP!
“Having tasted the other side, it feels refreshing to be back home! Thank you all for receiving me back. It feels like I never left. God bless you!”
This medium had reported last week that Uduaghan was eminently at the verge of returning back to the PDP after he had a closed door with Ibori, the supposed ‘political godfather of Delta politics’ and incumbent governor, Okowa at Government House in Asaba before the threesome fused to attend a state function together in Oghara, country home of Ibori.
