Joy as Nduka Irabor, wife Ebele welcome daughter in-law, as Tonobok, wife Ugomma give daughter, Nadia, for marriage

The sleepy neighbouring communities of Owa Alero and Owa Oyibu, both in Ika North East Local Government Area of Delta State have been agog with the marriage solemnization of their son and daughter, Kehlku Michael Toluwalavse and his detectible heart throb, Nadia Beula Obi on Saturday, April 5, 2025.

Nadia Beula Obi is the daughter of Chief Tonobok and Chief (Mrs) Ugomma Ivy Okowa and Kehlku Michael Toluwalavse is the son of Rt. Hon. (Chief) Nduka and Chief (Mrs) Ebele Irabor.

The event which held at the country home of the former governor of Delta State, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa saw many dignitaries grace the reception event shortly after the traditional wedding ceremony and solemnization of marriage vows by the couple.

Among dignitaries at the reception included the former governor of Delta State, and the Odidigboigbo of Africa, Chief James Onanefe Ibori who came in with a retinue of his associates, thus electrifying the atmosphere as the audience hailed him, Odidigboigbo, Odidigboigbe.

Chief Ibori exchanged pleasantries with dignitaries that included, the Duke, Chief Nduka Obaigbena, the Publisher and Editor-in-chief of ThisDay newspaper and the current rave of the  tube, Arise Television. There’s Dr. Okowa and a host of other dignitaries that included Hon. Ndudi Elumelu, Hon. Engr. Doris Uboh, Barr. Chiedu Ebie, Hon. Victor Nwokolo, and commissioners in the Governor Sheriff Oborevwori administration.

Journalists, who were former colleagues of Hon. Nduka Irabor at The Guardian newspaper, journalists of the ThisDay stable of newspapers and Arise Television, also graced the occasion among others.

When it was time for Chief Ibori to leave, he was seen off by Dr. Okowa.
