Late Prof. Ijomah.
The Executive Director, Maritime Labour and Cabotage Services in the Nigeria Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA), Rt Hon(Engr) Victor Ochei, has extended his condolences to the Ijomah family of Aboh , Ndokwa East Local Government Area of Delta state on the death of Professor Benedict Ijomah (Agidigbo) who recently passed on at 83.
In a condolence message signed by his Chief Press secretary, Mr. Nkem Osu, Ochei described the development as sad and unfortunate, especially at this time when his wealth of experience would have been most beneficial to Delta state and the Nigerian nation.
“The deceased (Professor Ijomah) was a globally venerated scholar, an outstanding researcher, copious author of no mean repute, a consummate politician, matchless educationist, and an inspirational community leader”, he stated.
He urged the family not to weep as those without hope, but should take solace in the fact that, the late octogenarian and sage’s over four score years on earth was exemplary, which left his indelible footprints in the sand of time.
While beseeching the Almighty God to grant the family abundant fortitude to bear the irreparable loss, Ochei also prayed for the sweet repose of late Professor Benedict Imeagwu Chukwumah Ijomah in the Lord’s bosom.
