ASABA/Nigeria: As Christians celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, the Deputy Speaker, Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon Christopher Ochor Ochor, has called on his constituents and the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, faithful not to lose faith in the Nigerian project, saying that the present challenges facing the nation will be overcome with time.
The Deputy Speaker, in statement by his Press Secretary, Mr. Emmanuel Enebeli to mark the 2020 Christmas celebration, on Thursday, December 24, 2020, assured the people of Ukwuani State Constituency of the blessings that came into the world with the birth of Jesus Christ, stating that, that joy and blessing is still much with the people of the world, after years of his birth.
He called on them to be positive, and collectively work towards a better Ukwuani, which he believes will transmit to a better Nigeria.
“Remember the blessings that came with the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ, that blessing is still available to us today. Let us have the faith of the old, and collectively work towards a better Ukwuani, and party which will lead to a better Nigeria.
“It’s our duty as a people, and members of our great party, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, to build a better community, which we can achieve, if we can always reflect on the essence of the birth of Jesus Christ. If we can do this, Ukwuani and our great party will be great again.
‘On behalf of my family, and staff, I congratulate every person from Ukwuani on the occasion of this year’s Christmas celebration.”
“As Christians we are expected to always be hopeful, and the birth of Jesus Christ has assured us again and again, that God will never abandon his children.” Happy Christmas,” Ochor said.
