Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State, has congratulated Bishop Ken Ebolum on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of Dominion Christian Centre, Asaba
In a good will message read on his behalf by the state Commissioner for Basic and Secondary Education, Mr Patrick Ukah, at the church premises, the governor thanked God for His sustaining grace on the bishop and the ministry for the past quarter of a century, adding that it was a testimony of God’s love, goodness and faithfulness.
Governor Okowa commended the faith and steadfastness of Bishop Ebolum in proclaiming the good news of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, through which, he said, lives had been saved, bodies healed, troubled marriages transformed and those in demonic bondages set free.
“As you soldier on in the vineyard of the Lord, it is my prayer that God will reward you abundantly for your labour of love, and continually enlarge your coasts,” Okowa stated. declaring that the next 25 years of the life of the Bishop and his ministry will be ten times better than the previous one.
In his sermon during the ceremony, the Head Pastor, Sure Word Bible Church, Port Harcourt, Rev. Dr Isaac David, said that everything good comes from Good, stating that even with the outbreak of COVID-19 this year, God was still very good to His children, warning that nothing good comes from the devil.
He advised the people to give God glory in the midst of all tribulations for His goodness towards them, saying that many pastors and ministries have packed up in the last 25 years but God sustained Dominion Christian Centre.
Earlier in his welcome address, Bishop Ebolum thanked Governor Okowa and other dignitaries that attended the ceremony for coming to celebrate with the church.
The occasion featured children’s dance drama, cutting of the anniversary cake and the launching of a book titled, ‘Kingdom Worth Living And Dying For’ written by Bishop Ebolum.
