The Executive Assistants to the Delta State Governor on Religious Matters, Bishop Greatman Nmalagu has in appraising Governor Ifeanyi Okowa administration in the last six years said that the governor was God sent to Deltans, as he had performed beyond expectation.

The Executive Assistant stated this on Friday, May 28, 2021, while speaking to the press in Asaba, on the administration of the present government in the state.

Bishop Nmalagu pointed out that the present government, under Senator Ifeanyi Okowa has worked and developed the state, which in a manner that has tremendously impacted the of the people.
He said the different youth empowerment programmes of the government have been well targeted as it had helped to create entrepreneurs who have started adding value to the economy of the state, as many beneficiaries have started engaging others through employment.

Nmalagu also affirmed that the government has through its policies promoted inter ethnic and inter religious harmony among the various stakeholders in the state, this have promoted peace in the state, with special mention of the various projects executed to make the state an enviable one.

“This government has worked and developed the state, in many sectors. One of such key areas is the various youth empowerment programmes. This has helped greatly to shore up the socio-economic stature of the state.

“We all can testify of the peace which has been existing in the state for the last six years. The inter ethnic and inter religious harmony has been so wonderful. All stakeholders have keyed into some of these policies, and this has greatly promoted peace and harmony in the state. Development in the area of infrastructure, security, sports, education, health. Just name it.

“Look, without prejudice, His Excellency, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa is God sent to Deltans. He has demonstrated leadership in the last six years. And all we need to do is for Deltans to continue to give their support, Bishop Nmalagu said.
