WARRI—The Delta Online Publishers Forum (DOPF) has congratulated Professor Presly Ogheneruke Obukoadata on his appointment as Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academics) of Southern Delta University, Ozoro.
Publicity Secretary Amb. Ehvwubare Oghenekparobo hailed the professor as an “erudite scholar” and “distinguished intellectual” in a statement issued on behalf of the group.
The Forum cited Obukoadata’s impactful lecture on media entrepreneurship at its 2025 Annual Convention, calling it a “reference point” for practitioners.
“Professor Obukoadata is not only a scholar of repute but also a mentor whose passion for knowledge dissemination and capacity building is evident,” the statement read.
DOPF expressed confidence that the appointment would boost teaching, research, and academic administration at the institution, wishing Obukoadata a tenure marked by innovation and excellence.
