The toilet facility in the main bowl of Stephen Keshi stadium, directly opposite the Press Centre in the base floor is in unbearable bad shape.

A visit by banneronlinenews to the Stadium Tuesday, August 19, 2025 afternoon, showed a dreadful sight of a neglected, dingy, grimy toilet, with a surrounding exuding putrefying odour and a decaying wall now eaten up by the fast spreading horrifying green colours of spirogyra organisms. The bowls in the toilet and doors are in a state of disrepair, while the walls drip water from the top, thus flooding the ground and making access to the toilet uneasy.

The terrible sight easily points to utter neglect of the stadium’s toilet facility that also calls to question the deplorable culture of maintenance of the stadium that has hosted athletes and football teams from Africa, Nigeria and the world.
