The Director General/Chief Executive Officer of the National Biosafety Management Agency (NBMA) Olorogun Dr Rufus Ebegba KSJ, has congratulated His Excellency Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his victory at the Presidential Primaries of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and emergence as the party’s 2023 Presidential Candidate.
In a statement made available to newsmen, the Biosafety Boss said: “I congratulate Asiwaju (Senator) Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his victory at the APC Presidential primaries and emergence as candidate of the party.
“Senator Tinubu who is popularly known as the Jagaban, is a politician of repute and having served as a Senator and Governor of Lagos State (the largest economy in West Africa), it is not in doubt that he has the capacity and means to go all the way to become President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, after the tenure of President Muhammadu Buhari”.
The statement signed by his media aide Ikechukwu Chukwudi, Dr Ebegba stated that “The All Progressives Congress (APC) has proven critics and naysayers wrong in the way and manner the Presidential Primaries held and the end result has shown that the party is big enough to handle it’s issues and resolve them amicably.
” Therefore, on behalf of my supporters and Deltans far and near, I extend commendation to the President and Commander-in-Chief for his non-interference and commitment to a credible process, while I also commend state Governors under the APC as well as party leaders who played key roles in the development that has shown a cohesion that exists in the party, in the ceding of the presidential ticket to Southern Nigeria.
I believe this underscores the nation’s progressive advancement with mutual respect, equity and fairness”.
In conclusion, the NBMA Boss said ” I extend warm regards to Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, Senate President Senator Ahmed Lawan, Fmr Minister of Transportation Rt Hon Chibike Rotimi Ameachi CON, as well as all others who contested the primaries, and urge that a sincere harmonization of interests be effected soonest.
“I also call on aspirants and contestants to rally round Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu in order to deliver a resounding victory for the All Progressives Congress, which would help consolidate on the successes of the present Administration.
“I have no doubt in me that the APC will conquer at the 2023 elections and have more opportunities to deliver dividends of democracy to Nigerians, irrespective of tribe, ethnicity, gender and religion”.
