Labour Party (LP) Presidential Candidate, Mr. Peter Obi has won a total of 15 local governments out of the 21 results of the presidential elections held in Delta State.

Obi’s LP won in Ika South, where it polled a total of 17,868 votes to beat PDP with 7,485 and All Progressives Congress (APC) that polled 3,290 votes.

Other local governments won by LP include: Aniocha North, Ethiope West, Oshimili North, Ndokwa West, Aniocha South, Ethiope East, Ukwuani, Ndokwa East, Sapele LG, Oshimili South, Okpe, Uvwie, Ughelli North and Udu Local Government Areas.

PDP won only in Ika North East, Bomadi, Warri North, Patani, Burutu, and Ughelli South LGs.
