Dame Nkem Okwuofu, a mother and notable political leader in Delta State, has extended her warm congratulations to her boss, Chief James Onanefe Ibori, the former governor of Delta State, on his 67th birthday anniversary.
In a statement on Tuesday, August 5, 2025 Dame Okwuofu thanked God for the life and continued good health of the former governor, acknowledging his remarkable contributions to the development of Delta State and Nigeria in general.
Okwuofu described Chief Ibori as a great leader and an indefatigable personality who has added exceptional value to the Niger Delta project, particularly in Delta State.
She highlighted the former Governor’s commitment to the growth and progress of the state, noting that his political ingenuity and governance style remain uncommon.
Dame Okwuofu, who is a member of the State Advisory and Elders Council, said she has had the opportunity to witness firsthand the impact of Chief Ibori’s leadership on the lives of the people of Delta State, even as she maintained that the former Governor’s legacy continues to inspire and motivate many, saying also that his contributions to the state’s development will forever be remembered.
She joined the good people of Delta State and beyond in celebrating Chief Ibori on this auspicious occasion of his birthday and wished the former Governor good health, longevity, and many more momentous years of service to God and humanity.
She prayed that God continues to bless and protect the former Governor, granting him the strength to continue making meaningful contributions to the society.
