Allow God’s will to be done, Okoh admonishes Christians, as Okowa attends Ezinne Janet Ogbuigwe’s burial

Dr. Festus Okubor welcomes Governor Ifeanyi Okowa and wife, Edith to St. James Anglican Church, Agbor.

Primate of the Anglican Communion, Most Revd Nicholas Okoh has urged Christians to imbibe the doctrine of allowing God’s will to be done.
Speaking at funeral service of Ezinne Janet Ogbuigwe at St. James Anglican Church, Agbor, the Primate emphasized that “Christian teaching, is let your will be done, not forcing nature to do your will.”

Delta State Governor, Senator Dr Ifeanyi Okowa led top government functionaries and politicians to attend the funeral service of the deceased, who was the mother-in-law of the Chairman, Governing Council of the Delta State Polytechnic, Ogwashi-Uku, Dr. Festus Okubor.
Revd. Okoh who delivered the sermon at the service admonished Christians to also, avoid looking for immediate benefits while working for God, emphasizing, “God is no debtor to any one, when you work for God, don’t be so eager for reward for God, your God who sees in secret will reward you openly.”
“Mama Jane was a virtuous woman, she was a great person; we are not here to shed tears, we are not here to mourn, we are here to celebrate the life well lived,” the Primate said, adding, “we should give thanks to God because most times, we do not commend people during their life time.”
He continued, “we want to thank God for the type of Christian mother she was, she had an incomparable self discipline, she lived a holy life and we are here to give thanks to God for a wonderful life she lived.”
Dignataries from all walks of life, top politicians that included Chief James Onanefe Ibori, Speaker of Delta state house of Assembly, graced the funeral event with guests entertained at the Umuein Secondary school, Boji-Boji, Owa Agbor.
