Aniocha North PDP Crisis deepens: Suspension axe dangles on Elumelu, Osuoza, Oseme, others for alleged gross misconduct

The crisis and the battle of wits in Aniocha north Local Government Area chapter of People’s Democratic Party (PDP) got messier yesterday, Friday, 16/2/2018 when the LGA executive committee announced the suspension of some top notchers and leaders of the party in the local government for alleged misconduct and acts of indiscipline.

The Local Government Area Executive of the party in a dramatic move said to be towards bringing sanity to the activities of the party in Aniocha North Local Government Area of Delta State,said it has suspended indefinitely the former member, Federal House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Ndudi Elumelu, the state Publicity Secretary of the PDP, Mr. Michael Osuoza, Barrister Kress Njiokwuemeni, Hon. Chuks Oseme, who is the local government council chairman, Chief Emma Eboh and Mr. Kaikene Okolie.

A statement signed by Hon. Julius Egoh, secretary of the Party in Aniocha North, stated that
the indefinite suspension was a consequence of “acts of gross misconducts inimical to the peace and progress of the party in the area” being displayed by the culprits.
The statement reads: “Arising from an enlarged Exco meeting of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Aniocha North Chapter, on Friday 16th February, 2018, at the Party’s Secretariat in Issele-Uku, the following under listed members of the party are hereby suspended indefinitely from the Party in the area.

1). Hon. Ndudi Elumelu

2). Barr. Kress Njiokwuemeni

3). Hon. Chuks Oseme

4). Mr. Michael Osuoza

5). Chief Emma Eboh

6). Mr. Kaikene Okolie

“The decision was unanimously reached after taking a cursory look at the undisciplined and gross misconduct of the above persons, which are inimical to the peace and progress of the party in Aniocha North Local Government Area.

“The indefinite suspension of the above persons takes immediate effect from this day, 16th February, 2018, to act as deterrent to uncultured elements within the party, who may want to cause crisis at any given opportunity for personal interests.

“For the avoidance of doubts, the party in the area will no longer condone any form of indiscipline and unruly behaviour of some members, no matter their political status.”
