Egbudu-Akah: Obi Augustine Ezeagwuna Okolie III our monarch, says Umu Obi Okolie; rejects position of NEC of EDU

The children of the late monarch of Egbudu-Akah, HRM Obi  Agbogidi Alfred  1 have dissociated themselves and rejected a purported position and endorsement of one Solomon Oguagwu Obiokolie as the Obi of Egbudu-Akah, calling such a resolution and endorsement as null, void and of no effect.

A statement signed on behalf of Umu Obi Okolie stated that the authentic, rightful and reigning monarch is HRM Obi Augustine Ezeagwuna Okolie III, pointing out that the late Obi Paul Okolie and father of Obi Okolie III was the heir apparent that was crowned, and presented with the staff of office by the Delta State Government and gazette.

Warning that anyone doing business with Mr. Solomon Oguagwu Obiokolie in the name of the Egbudu-Akah monarchy is doing so at his or her own risk, they pointed out that the authentic kingship situation of Egbudu-Akah has not changed

“As such the next person in line to take over the kingship throne is his first son, and he is HRM Obi Augustine Ezeagwuna Okolie 111. We therefore state clearly that by no means did we agree nor agree at any time that Mr. Solomon Oguagwu ObiOkolie should be recognized as the Obi of Egbudu-Akah,” the statement said.
