Omordi appeals for electricity supply to St. Piux Xth Grammar School

The National President of the Class of 1984 at the  Saint Pius xth Grammar School, Onicha-Ugbo in Aniocha North Local Government Area of Delta State, Mr. Augustine Omordi, has appealed to HRM Obi Victor Chukwumalieze of Onicha-Ugbo to use his position to extend electricity supply to the school.

Mr. Omordi made the appeal when he led a team of the class on a courtesy visit to the palace of the traditional ruler in Onicha-Ugbo.

He said that they were in the palace to intimate him of their 5th biennial convention holding at the school premises and to seek for his royal blessings.

The president, who underscored the importance of light, stated that the school premises needed not only to be illuminated for security reasons, but to enhance effective teaching and learning in the school.

He disclosed that the Class 84 had concluded plans to build an ultra modern Principal Quarters to be named after the Late Mr. P. O. Mozie, a former principal in the school, adding that Mr Mozie impacted positively in their educational upbringing by instilling discipline in their lives.

Responding, Obi Chukwumalieze thanked them for their visit and assured that their request would be given the needed attention as quickly as possible.

The royal father immediately appointed a three member committee to work out the modalities on how the electricity supply to the school would be funded and executed without delay.
