The Warri, Uvwie and Environs Special Area Development Agency, WUEDA, has shut down all unauthorized motor parks and mechanic workshops in its mandate areas in continuation of the Agency’s sensitization of citizens to keep the oil city clean.

Director General of the Agency, Prince Godwin Ejinyere, and his enforcement team visited PTI Junction, DSC Roundabout, Sapele Road after the flyover, and Airport Junction, where he warned operators of all illegal motor parks to relocate within seven days or face the wrath of the law.

PrinceEjinyere told motorists and keke ooerators using the PTI junction to park their vehicles away from the busy junction to allow free flow of traffic.

The DG instructed the Management of Delta Line to park their vehicles inside their own premises, as well as clean their surroundings at all times.

He also warned all illegal shop owners at the PTI and other junctions in the metropolis to immediately vacate the areas within seven days or risk arrest, as they help to deface the city.

Ejinyere also told all Keke mechanics who use roadsides as their workshops to quit without delay and clean the bastardized environment before vacating the areas.

He also asked the owners of detached parts of a trailer, and other vehicles displayed for sale on the roadsides to remove them within seven days or face prosecution.

At the spare parts market area on Sapele Road, the WUEDA DG told motorists to operate within the confines of their legal parks and not on the road.

He urged Deltans to support Governor Oborevwori in actualizing his dreams for the good of all.

At the Airport Junction, Effurun, Hon. Ejinyere warned transport owners and their workers who park their vehicles on the road causing traffic hold-ups especially in the morning, to stop forthwith or risk being prosecuted and their vehicles impounded.

The WUEDA DG reiterated that the Agency would not tolerate anything that would deface the popular Oil City, as the State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori was very eager to transform Warri, Uvwie and their environs into a mega and modern City that all Deltans would be proud of.

The DG was accompanied by the WUEDA Director of Administration and Finance, Mr. Simon Esi, other senior staff of the Agency, as well as Aides to the Director General.
