Members of the Issele-Uku Oligbo Daughters’ Association Inc., whose motto is unity, discipline and peace today paid a solidarity courtesy visit on the member representing Aniocha North Local Government Area in the Delta state House of Assembly, Hon. Emeka in his office, to felicitate with him on his success at the polls and subsequent inauguration for second term in the House of Assembly.
Led by National Vice President Mrs. Theresa Obidi who represented the National President Mrs Rita Ojeisekhoba, told Nwoabi that the body is grateful and thank God for His marvelous works to him, his family and constituents. “We are aware of your giant strides in the development of our town, rehabilitation of roads within Aniocha North Local Government Area, caring for the less privileged and the widows during your first tenure,” Mrs. Obidi said.
She continued: “Our visit here is to encourage and congratulate you because there is an adage in our dialect which says Na wa tu dike na nke-ome, ome ozo’, which when translated means ‘when a great man is praised for his good works, he will do more.’
“Our honourable, we are expecting more of these link roads in this your second tenure, to bypass the Afor market to the NYSC Orientation Camp Road.
“With the State government declaring a state of emergency on water, we are assured that Issele-Uku will not be left out in this agenda because we have confidence in you.
As our well respected son, we urge you to ensure that peace and the security of the town will be of utmost importance in your agenda and plans.
“Pease keep the flag flying and do not be discouraged,” Mrs. Obidi said, with an assurance as abody to always remember the honourable members in their daily prayers.
