HRM Dr. Emmanuel Efeizomor, Obi of Owa.

The Obi of Owa kingdom, HRM Dr Emmanuel Efeizomor, has donated 50 plots of land to Living Faith Church international, aka Winners Chapel to enhance the preaching of the gospel in Owa-Oyibu.

The Obi of Owa made this known when the District Pastor, Living Faith Church Agbor paid him courtesy visit at his palace.

Obi Efeizomor, who is also the Chairman of Delta State Traditional Rulers Council, said the gesture was his way of appreciating God for his magnanimous acts towards Owa people and himself.

“If not for God Owa kingdom will not be what it is today. I am happy to have recognized him as my saviour, provider and preserver. I always rely on God because he is that friend that never fails,” he added.

While recounting how many times he was faced with life threatening situations and God’s intervened, he said “Who am I to reject such a request to donate a place for the worshipping of the Almighty God.”

He also revealed that he had been a silent admirer of Bishop David Oyedepo and what he preaches.

Speaking further, the Owa monarch described the donation as s clear replica of what his grand father did in 1915, when he brought Anglican Church to Owa land which has remain the synoecism of intellectual and moral development in the land.

“Who knows whether the much-demanded source of learning and vision that is missing in our midst will actually be the one that will occupy the place provided. My application and supplication are that we should strive to make it a reality,” he added.

The District Pastor of Living Faith Church Agbor, Pastor Caleb Olubiyi, appreciated the monarch for the donation and promised that the land would be put into good use.

While congratulating the Obi on his 61st anniversary on the throne, Pastor Olubiyi prayed for the Obi and presented gifts items to him.

The event had in attendance some prominent persons including, HRM, Henry Jegbefume, the Obi of Akumazi; Dr Ezeagwu Ezewali 1, the Obi of Umunede; Ehizoigie Eluojienoir, the Onogie of Igueben and Okaigun of Esan land.
