The Forum of Delta State NGOs (FODESAN) has congratulated the Chairman of the Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (DESOPADEC), Olorogun (Barr.) John Obukowho Nani, on the occasion of his birthday, commending his leadership and contributions to the development of oil-producing communities across Delta State.
In a congratulatory message jointly signed by the Coordinator of the Forum, Deacon Okezi Odugala, and its Secretary, Mr. Ekenem Omosor, FODESAN described Nani as a visionary leader whose commitment to service and sustainable development has continued to leave a positive impact on the state.
The umbrella body for civil society organisations in Delta State praised the DESOPADEC chairman for initiating programmes aimed at improving infrastructure, advancing community development, empowering youths and women, promoting education, and expanding socio-economic opportunities within the commission’s mandate areas.
According to the Forum, Nani’s dedication to transparency, accountability and people-centred governance has strengthened stakeholders’ confidence in DESOPADEC and reinforced the commission’s role in driving development in the state’s oil-producing communities.
FODESAN also commended the commission under Nani’s leadership for aligning its programmes with the developmental agenda of the Delta State Government while promoting peace, inclusiveness and sustainable growth.
The Forum noted that the commission’s interventions have significantly improved the quality of life of residents and contributed meaningfully to the overall development of Delta State.
As the DESOPADEC chairman celebrates another year, FODESAN prayed for God’s continued guidance, wisdom, sound health and renewed strength, expressing confidence that he would record even greater accomplishments in public service.
The Forum wished Olorogun Barr. John Obukowho Nani many more years of impactful leadership and dedicated service to Delta State and Nigeria.
