ASABA, Nigeria – The Forum of Delta State NGOs (FODESAN) has extended warm birthday greetings to Governor Sheriff Oborevwori as he marks his 63rd birthday, praising his administration’s “visible improvements” in infrastructure, healthcare, and security across the state.
In a statement signed by Coordinator Deacon Okezi Odugala and Secretary Mr. Ekenem Omosor, the coalition of civil society organizations commended the Governor’s commitment to the “MORE Agenda,” which they say has fostered inclusive development and strengthened trust between the government and citizens.
“As the Governor celebrates another remarkable year of life, FODESAN joins millions of Deltans in celebrating a leader whose commitment to growth, peace, and development continues to inspire confidence,” the statement read.
The group specifically lauded Governor Oborevwori for maintaining open engagement with civil society and development partners, noting that his focus on transparency and accountability has positioned Delta State as a leading sub-national economy.
FODESAN offered prayers for the Governor’s continued health and wisdom, expressing confidence that his leadership will usher in “greater progress, prosperity, and development” for the state in the coming years.
